April 14,2009 Lisa Mullarkey was the Visiting Author at our Greenbrook Elementary School on March 30, 2009. Right from the start I knew we made a terrific choice in inviting her. She was so helpful in answering any questions we had prior to her visit. Also her website is such a useful tool. She arrived with a smile and kept us smiling all day. She really is an engaging speaker. She held the attention of the students in each age group. Even the Kindergarten groups were quiet and attentive as she spoke to them. Afterwards I heard many parents, teachers and students compliment Lisa Mullarkey’s presentation. One parent who did not hear Lisa Mullarkey speak told me all about the assembly after hearing the details from her daughter. She was surprised to see that her daughter actually wanted to talk about what happened at school. I am sure any school that invites Lisa Mullarkey as their visiting author will not be disappointed. She was wonderful!
