Little Kids,Big Ideas!
During this interactive, informative, and energetic 25-30 minute Kindergarten assembly, the kids join in and help me tell a story while using props. After learning a little about me and explaining how details make stories and pictures shine, I immerse them in an "adding details" activity of their own that they get to bring home. Teachers smile and nod at me as the students chime in on my mantra throughout the assembly: "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." I smile and nod at them when the children announce as they leave, "I'm going to be an author when I grow up." I know just how they feel! NOTE: Since there isn't a PowerPoint Presentation for this group, the location of this assembly can easily be changed. This often helps with scheduling!
